About Me
Hello, my name is Kathlyen Harrison. I have a Bachelors Degree in Mathematics from the University of Kentucky. I am currently a student at the University of Michigan in the Secondary Edcuation with Certification Masters program. I am also a W.K. Kellogg Foundation's Woodrow Wilson Teaching Fellow for the year 2012. I hope to begin teaching mathematics in Fall 2013. During my student teaching, I have had the opportunity to work with a Flip Classroom in Ypsilanti, MI. I believe that students learn best when they can relate to the material and it is presented in a new and excited way. I strive to make math exciting and to engage students in the material in new ways.
